Our aim is to help our clients find simple, cost effective ways to make what they do and offer is as accessible to as many people as possible. Since the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Equality Duty were put in place in the U.K, many organisations have read the legislation as imposing upon them the need to provide special and specific services for anyone with a disability. We assist our clients to understand the legislation, so that it is clear that separate and exclusive provision of services is neither acceptable nor desirable and is an unnecessary expense for the organisation concerned.
We have a dedicated team, fully experienced and ready to carry out a full or partial access audit of a built environment, access signage installations and suggest improvements. In consultation with you, we will look at your organisation and deliver training to staff, so that disability awareness becomes second nature to them, and that the process of dealing with a disabled person is not even an issue, but simply a part of doing the job. If you operate a web site, it too MUST be accessible and we can help.
